Meet the Second Generation of Mergers and Acquisitions Experts

In the early 1980s business brokerage was just emerging into a full-blown profession. Although we recall professional organizations coming along by the mid ’80s, we didn’t hear the term “mergers and acquisitions.” After the recession of the early ’90s, however, “M&A” came into wider use.

The following mergers and acquisitions experts, members of Business Broker Services’ Advisory Board, were very young then (probably busy with after-school activities and deciding on colleges and majors).

Elena Doom

Vice President , Delphi Automotive

Delphi Automotive, a global auto technology firm headquartered in
Gillingham in the UK, has named Elena Doom Rosman as its new vice
president of investor relations.

Rosman, who most recently held the position of managing partner at
advisory firm Corbin Perception, previously spent more than five years
leading the IR program at US conglomerate Honeywell.

During her time at Honeywell, Rosman and her IR team scooped a number
of IR Magazine Awards, including three in 2014, her last full year at the
firm: best IR by a CFO – large cap, best financial reporting and best in
sector – diversified industrials.

The University of Notre Dame graduate joined Honeywell in 2002 and held
a number of management roles before leading the IR program, including
positions in treasury, investor relations and global M&A.

‘Elena brings an impressive track record in finance and is an award winning professional in investor relations,’ says Kevin Clark, Delphi
president and CEO, in a press release announcing her appointment.

‘I’m confident she will build on Delphi’s formidable investor relations
